I would love to see them go on a longer run like a half marathon instead of just 5k and under

It's like a flock of birds debating whether they need to test flying so much to find the fittest bird

For me, the marathon row they did at one games was terrible to watch

From a spectator perspective I would rather watch a running event than watching a rowing event.

DB Squat snatches were in Event 9 “Hat Trick” from 2022 - sorry Lauren

They did do DB Squat Snatches at the 2015 games I think...it was in the event with the peg board. I think it was peg board, assault bike, db squat snatches at 100 lbs for the guys. My guess is strict ring mu...mainsite posted 30 strict rmu as a workout of the day a couple of weeks ago. Either that or I could see bench press as well.

I think the new movement is something that requires a harness. There has been other reporting that athletes were asked for their thigh size. That’s sizing for a harness

Rowing in a boat is completely different than rowing on a erg. Water ain’t hard surface so balance and technique trumps power output. You put a CF athlete, with no boat experience, in a Single I guarantee they are flipping. Now if you put them on a “paddle boat” rowing boat (something with more surface area) I can see it working. I think James Sprague is the only Games athlete that has water rowing experience because he has rowed in the past?

When it comes to athletes getting sick on tbe open swim It's the athletes responsibility to keep their mouth closed in the water... While their definitely should be some version of a health test.... I wouldn't put it on crossfit beyond the common sense standard This is the same kind of argument of a slippery rig.... Just because the athlete is not used to it, does not mean it's crossfits fault if the athlete has an injury... All athletes do the same test, I don't believe their is a rule against protecting the way any other swimmer protects themselves (ear solution etc....)

I am an avid f1 fan and the amount of ppl who got into the sport by watching drive to survive is incredible. I found crossfit from the netflix film of 2017. While espn is fine the new generation do not watch tv.
